ABOUT

Nestled amid the picturesque green hills of the Mudgeeraba hinterland, Country Lane is just minutes away from the Pacific Highway and reputable schools. Our vision for Country Lane is inspired by the majestic parkland on our eastern boundary. We aspire to capture the delights of sustainability, nature, and the simple pleasure of breathing in the fresh country air.

As you step through the doors of Country Lane, families will instantly sense a warm and comforting atmosphere. It serves as an oasis for children to explore, play, and learn in an environment that embraces them like a second home.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless tradition of gathering for a family meal, our outdoor dining area provides an ideal setting for children to engage in meaningful mealtimes and nutritious food.

Bush Kindy Program
Nestled against lush bushland and a reserve, our service is uniquely positioned to offer the ideal setting for our Bush Kindy program. Here, children delve into lessons about sustainability, environmental stewardship, and immersive outdoor learning experiences.

The Grounds

Our expansive gardens and playgrounds are an essential component of the learning atmosphere at Country Lane. Thoughtfully designed, these oversized play areas offer enchanting views of lush green spaces and towering gum trees.

 Inclusions

We include organic cotton bedding for the most comfortable rest times, as well as nappies, wipes, sunscreen and engaging incursions.

Additional Programs

Our weekly curriculum incorporates extracurricular learning experiences, including sports, dance, and drama. Additionally, we offer a specialized program for interaction with the elderly, facilitated in collaboration with Cedar House located right next door to our service.

Online Learning Portfolios

Never miss a thing! Each child's learning journey is documented via our private & secure online community & learning platform. This way every family member near or far can keep up to date with your child's adventures.

LEARNING

LEARNING

At Country Lane, our curriculum is thoughtfully crafted by our team, combining a play-based pedagogy with the Early Years Learning Framework of Australia (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF). Our classrooms and outdoor spaces showcase a multitude of activities, and the original house, transformed into indoor play and learning spaces on our expansive 5000-square-meter property, is preserved to maintain the cherished ambiance of a beloved family home.

The learning studios are designed to inspire children to actively participate, discover, explore, and investigate through diverse mediums and learning experiences. These endeavors aim to excite and engage each child on their individualised, self-guided learning journey.

Our educators serve as learning facilitators, acting as guides who encourage, nurture, and plan for our young learners to feel important, loved, and valued as they embark on the path to becoming successful learners. Embracing a holistic approach to childcare, our educators recognise each child as a unique individual. We consider our surrounding community an invaluable resource, as it allows us to not only look toward the future but also connect with the past. Strong community ties enable us to impart significant historical moments to our children and bridge the gaps.

A harmonious partnership between all stakeholders empowers us to collectively strive towards nurturing happy, confident, and engaged future citizens for our society.

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for Children, play is serious learning. Play really is the work of Childhood”
